Celebrating Sukkot

Sukkot is an important celebration in the Jewish calendar. We have been learning about how Jew's celebrate Sukkot and in particular the importance of building a sukkah. A Sukkah must have 3 walls and a roof made of leaves and branches with space for the sun to shine through. Jew's enjoy their meals in the sukkah during Sukkot and some Jew's even sleep in their sukkah. 

To celebrate Sukkot, we built our own tiny sukkahs.
