Part-whole models

In our math lessons, we've been exploring the art of partitioning numbers into two parts. Using a part-whole model has proven instrumental in supporting the children to grasp the concept of combining two equal parts to form a whole. Engaging in enjoyable and hands-on activities, such as using two-sided counters, has enabled the children to visually identify the two parts before calculating the whole.
